Create Your Own Original CUPNOODLES
One of the museum’s most popular attractions is the My CUPNOODLES Factory. For a fee, visitors can choose their preferred soup flavor and toppings to create a completely original cup of noodles.
The museum was renamed in 2017 to Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum Osaka Ikeda, with CUPNOODLES MUSEUM OSAKA IKEDA used as its nickname.
The museum places particular emphasis on providing opportunities to learn about food through hands-on experiences. Approximately two-thirds of the facility is devoted to exhibition space, while about one-third is allocated to experiential learning facilities.
Chicken Ramen Factory
At the Chicken Ramen Factory, visitors can experience the process of making Chicken Ramen by hand. Participants knead the wheat-flour dough, season it, and take part in the noodle-making process themselves.
This hands-on experience provides an enjoyable way to understand how instant ramen is produced, from the basic ingredients through to the finished noodles.
My CUPNOODLES Factory
At the My CUPNOODLES Factory, visitors can create a one-of-a-kind CUPNOODLES product. By selecting their own soup and toppings, they can design an original cup of noodles to take home as a memorable souvenir.
Through interactive exhibits and quizzes, visitors can also learn about the history and development of instant ramen in an entertaining way.
The Chicken Ramen Factory and My CUPNOODLES Factory are particularly popular, so advance reservations are recommended.
