NIFREL

A living museum

An inland aquarium using artificial seawater, NIFREL is characterized by its innovative concept of combining an aquarium, a zoo, and an art museum under the concept of “touching the senses. It is located within the EXPOCITY commercial complex.

Intuitively expressing the beauty and wonder of living creatures, the aquarium combines space, lighting, video, and music to provide a rich sensory experience for children and adults alike.

Not only fish and water creatures, but also mammals and birds are kept here.

The exhibit consists of eight zones, each with its own unique concept to introduce the exhibited creatures.

For example, in the “Color” zone, colorful creatures such as clownfish, lurid sparrowhawks, yellow-bellied leatherbacks, bicolor dotterels, and white-spotted duckbills are exhibited, and in the “Technique” zone, technically sophisticated creatures such as spectacled hammerhead fish, longtail fish, bull sharks, humpback sharks, and tiger sharks are exhibited. and other skillful creatures will be displayed in the “Waza” section.

In addition, the “swimming,” “hiding,” “water beads,” and “moving” zones will be full of highlights, with specialized creatures exhibited in each of these zones.

In the “Tsunagari” zone, visitors can enjoy three-dimensional images projected on the walls and floor.

This is a museum with a new sensation that can be enjoyed by both children and adults, and is definitely worth a visit.
